Flew in to L.A. yesterday, and effectively traveled backwards in time. I gotta say, things look a lot different when you're eight hours in the past.

But seriously, it feels SO EFFING GOOD to be back home, and doing what I do best. I'm super-psyched for this con, and getting back together with all my friends, and kicking hilarious quantities of ass. Check-in starts at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, and after that, the fun really starts. I've got a two-hour window to get set up and start pimping my arts. Most of my print orders came in before I left the UK, and I took care of the rest at a digital printer's conveniently located just down the street from my hotel. There is a God, and he is making sure I don't go insane on this trip.

For those of you who will be in town this weekend, get your asses to the Expo and see what you're missing!

BONUS CELEBRITY MOMENT

It was about noon on Wednesday, July 1st when something amazing happened. I totally passed this guy on the sidewalk:



You bet your ass that's Ed Begley Jr.! You may remember him as the hopelessly Jewish Lars Olfen from Christopher Guest's A Mighty Wind. Apparently he also appeared in Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth.

Anyway, I soooooo saw this dude. It was right in front of the CitiBank on 1st Street. He was talking on his cell phone about finding something, or whatever. If he hadn't been busy chatting, I'd have stopped him to snap a quick photo. Sigh...
